I have managed to keep it pretty close to stopped as I can with CRC 808 silicone spray which brings up any stainless steel back to near new. I noticed that people complain about the handle cracking - ours hasn't done yet - however the owner of the property never took off the plastic coating off the stainless fascia, and water made its way behind it causing corrosion. The filter in the bottom is cleaned regularly and whatever else filters down gets cleaned up - but we continually get dirty dishes as it seems that the sprayers dont seem to get to the dishes like the Simpson managed? This Blanco that's fitted with the rental has been looked after as it should but by god is it a pain in the rear! We use the same washing powder that we have been for the last 4 years and. We've been living with the popping, farting and intermittent Blanco dishwasher since early 2012 - and since leaving out old rental with a Simpson dishwasher we are really sorry to see that one go! The Simpson was small, smelly and the dish racks constantly fell out of their rails - but by great googly moogly did it wash the plates and with so much vigour!
